In this article, we will show you how to allow your team members to self-schedule or request their own gigs using the PINATA Go Portal. We'll show you how to invite (or edit) a team member so that they can self-schedule or request gigs.
Requesters
These users can access go.gopinata.com to submit requests for gigs. They are not able to pick a date/time, nor are they able to assign it to anyone — that’s where you come in. This is a great way to reduce one-off requests via email and have these gigs go straight into your dashboard!
Self-Schedulers
These users can create their own gigs assigned to themselves, to check-in and complete reporting. The self-scheduling ability is great for employees who manage their own gigs and complete work autonomously.
Inviting Users
Select Settings in the top right on dashboard.gopinata.com
Select My Company
Select My Team on the left-hand side
Select Invite Team Members
Enter their emails in the top field
Select "Gogetter (Access to Go Portal)" in the "User Type" field
Select "Worker" in the "Level" field >> this is a standard GoGetter who can be assigned gigs.
Select “Worker” and then “Self-Schedule” >> this allows the user(s) to create their own gigs using the Go Portal
Select “Requester” in the “Level” field >> this allows the user(s) to request gigs via the Go Portal.
If you selected a Self-Scheduler or Requester, then you must select the programs they should have access to. You can do this below:
Alternatively, if your users already have the permissions you want but you’ve made a new program, you can choose to select all or specific Requesters or Self-Schedulers under the TEAM section of any program. Like this:
Editing an existing User
Select Settings in the top right
Select My Company
Select My Team on the left hand side
Search for the team member
Select the blue drop down arrow
Select the "Edit" button
Select "Gogetter" in the "User Type" field
Select "Worker" in the "Level" field, then "Self-schedule"
Or select “Requester” in the “Level” field
Then select the programs they'll need access to create their own events
