In this article let's cover how to cancel gigs. Cancelling a gig is quick & easy on PINATA.
The only two things you'll need to make sure you note down is the cancellation reason & whether or not this gig will still be paid to the agency if you use one.
The rules around whether or not a gig paid out is decided between the client and agency. Cancelled gigs that are to be paid are moved into the Finished section of the dashboard along with regularly completed gigs. Unpaid cancelled gigs are moved to the trash.
Here are the steps to cancel a single gig:
- Select the magnifying glass to open into the gig
- Select the cancel symbol in the top right
- Select a reason
- Enter a description if necessary
- Select whether this will be Trash (Unpaid) or Payment Pending
- Select cancel & close

It is the users responsibility to relay any cancellations or issues to the client/agency. All cancellation communication should happen in real time via email unless expressed differently between client and agency.
